Today you went to play at your best friend Ellie's house. Her mom called while you and the little girls were at Linda's and we arranged for them to pick you up. They came and got you and you played at their house for 4 hours! They fed you pizza, and you also had a peanut butter sandwich when you got there because you hadn't eaten lunch, even though I had asked if you needed something to eat before you left.
Just too excited I guess.
I've just about finished a dress for you, but somehow the lining ended up narrower than the outer bodice and I don't know what exactly to do. I guess I'll call grandma and see what she says...

So excited
I've finally discovered the key to buying super cute expensive little girl clothes. Pre-order! Some online boutiques will offer items as pre-orders...and you can either make a 25% payment, or a 50% payment and then the rest is due at shipping. HAPPY DAY!!! So I had the 50% amount to order birthday dresses for Maddie and Ava. Dollcake dresses. It's an Australian company that makes gorgeous items. Maddie got to pick which dress she wanted (I wanted a more flowy one that was white and had tiny lacy sleeves). Anyway, so either at the end of the month or sometime in february I will pay the second half for the dresses and I need to start working on gathering photoshoot items because these dresses require a fabulous photo shoot and I can't afford Skye Johansen or Peekaboo Photography.
This is Maddie's chosen dress:
Yes, it looks slightly like a slip....oh well, it is lovely and it she absolutely fell in love with it.
This is Ava's that I chose because I love it. I love a different set as well and thought about it for her, but it cost double because it was two separate pieces. I do have limits, believe me or not.
Isn't it delicious?! I love it so so much!
So I love One Good Thread because not only do they do the payments thing, but they also do free shipping on all orders. Which is fabulous, because when you are paying that much for clothing, who wants to add more just to have it shipped?!

I'd buy if I could
Maddie hasn't been asking questions lately. Well, not beyond "can I have some more minutes?" when it's bedtime and "Can I have a snack?" every other waking moment. So this blog has been abandoned from that refrain until future notice. Instead I'm sharing my window shopping.
Mostly shoes at the moment. All pictures link to where the items can be purchased at the time of posting.

Today's questions
Why do we wash dishes?
How do you get the wood out of trees?
Leaves aren't wood, what are they made of?
Where do we get these [nailpolish] from?
What is this [a knitting needle] for?
What does emerge mean?
What is this [small wooden box] for? Where did you get it?
Do you know how to make baskets out of grass?
